Testing and Instrumentation
Physical measurements allow us to directly observe and quantify real-world phenomena, while simulation provides a way to model and predict complex behaviors that may be difficult or impossible to observe directly. By using both approaches together, we can refine and validate our simulations, improving their accuracy and reliability and gaining key insights into the problem. This, in turn, enables us to make better decisions and develop more effective solutions, more rapidly.
At Novus Engineering we have years of experience instrumenting a vast array of equipment with all sorts of sensors. Combined with our extensive experience with simulation tools, especially CFD and FEA, Novus Engineering is a one stop shop to solve your most challenging problems.
If you are trying to understand how to fix a problem or improve the performance of a design, instrumentation and data acquistion should be near the top of your plan of action.
The following list is just a few of the different sensor types we have used:
- Pressure sensors - both static and dynamic.
- Accelerometers & Microphones
- Strain Gauges
- Displacement and proximity sensors.
Once collected, the Novus Engineering team is expert at helping you understand what the data is telling you and visualizing the information in ways that provide clear insight for rapid progress.
